Ben Edwards, MD
Dr. Ben Edwards is the founder and CEO of Veritas Medical and Veritas Wellness in Lubbock, Texas. He was trained as a family practitioner, graduating from UT-Houston Medical School in 2002 and Waco Family Practice residency in 2005, where he was chief resident. After seven years of practicing conventional family medicine as the only physician in the county in Post, Texas, he discovered the role that nutrition plays in health (something he did not learn in medical school). He now leads a team of four nurse practitioners and ten health coaches in teaching patients how to address root causes of chronic disease through the Veritas 4 Pillars of Health: nutrition, hydration, movement and peace.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE 2025 MENNONITE MEASLES OUTBREAK

In the spring of 2025, Dr. Ben Edwards found himself thrust into the middle of the Gaines County, Texas measles outbreak amongst the rural Mennonite community in west Texas. He will be sharing his first-hand experience treating hundreds of sick children utilizing cod liver oil and whole food vitamin C. Dr. Edwards will be discussing the historical role that cod liver oil has played in the treatment of measles over the past one hundred fifty years. He will also share some unique insights and experiences he had with the biased mainstream media and public health officials during last year’s measles outbreak.
