Helene leeds

Helene Leeds came to traditional food the hard way. She overcame childhood obesity and osteomyelitis before spending years as a leading voice in the raw vegan culinary world, teaching people to avoid the very foods Wise Traditions considers foundational. The body that eventually proved her wrong became the foundation of thirty years of work in lifestyle medicine, nutritional psychology and food as medicine. She holds a Master of Science in nutrition with advanced studies at the Sorbonne and the University of Fribourg, has trained more than 1,000 wellness professionals across sixty-three countries, and is a MasterChef finalist. She has been featured in Forbes, Redbook and FOX TV. Helene is the creator and producer of the official Wise Traditions Culinary Course, built in collaboration with Sally Fallon Morell. Her talk names what this community has been carrying quietly, and builds the practice that finally lets the food finish its work.

PRESENTATION

WISE TRADITIONS IS RIGHT. SO WHY ARE SO MANY OF US STILL STRUGGLING?

SAT., OCT 17 AT 11:00 AM

This community knows the food. Many here have lived it for years, sometimes decades. And still, for a meaningful number of people in this room, the body has not caught up with everything the mind already knows. The weight persists. The cravings return. The quiet sense of falling short of your own convictions follows you home from every conference. This talk names that experience with warmth, and then explains it with science this audience has not yet heard from this stage. Helene Leeds, creator of the Wise Traditions official video course, brings new research on how traditional food preparation actively restores the gut-brain pathways that modern food systematically dismantles, and why doing both simultaneously keeps so many dedicated practitioners in a draw they cannot win alone. The food is the medicine. This talk explains precisely how, and builds the practice that finally lets it work.
