RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF WESTON A. PRICE FOUNDATION
The Board of Directors of Weston A. Price Foundation (“the Foundation”), a non-profit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the District of Columbia, duly adopted the following resolution at a meeting held on June 4, 2012:
WHEREAS, in order to advance its goals of promoting a healthy diet, the Foundation encourages small and family farms and related businesses so that consumers may have access to healthy, natural foods; and
WHEREAS, the Foundation has been advised by legal counsel that it is under no obligation to provide a forum to businesses or business models that are not in alignment with its values, principles, and goals; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors finds it in the best interest of the Foundation to adopt a policy specifically excluding certain types of businesses from exhibiting at conferences and other activities and advertising in publications of the Foundation and its chapters;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT
RESOLVED, that it shall be the policy of the Foundation to exclude businesses whose products, services, or business models are inconsistent with the Foundation’s values, principles, and goals from exhibiting at conferences, chapter activities and other activities and advertising in publications of the Foundation and its chapters;
RESOLVED FURTHER, that businesses based on a multi-level marketing business model, including independent associates connected with such businesses, shall not be permitted to exhibit at conferences and other activities, participate in chapter activities or advertise in publications of the Foundation and its chapters.
