Cheryl Ciecko, AIA, FALA, LEED AP, is a licensed architect with over thirty-five years of experience and a Master's degree in architecture. As founder of AvoidingMold.com and The Dwell Well Institute, she specializes in mold prevention, moisture management and building science for healthy homes. Cheryl's expertise is both professional and personal. When her daughter developed severe asthma and migraines, Cheryl traced the cause to aspergillus mold in their ductwork—beginning a twenty-year journey through building failures, family illness and ultimately, recovery. That journey transformed her career.
