Mollie Englehart
Mollie Engelhart is a regenerative farmer, entrepreneur, chef, writer and mother of five based in Texas. She is the founder of Sovereignty Ranch and The Barn, a farm-to-table restaurant rooted in nutrient-dense food and land stewardship. Formerly known as the founder of Sage Vegan Bistro in Los Angeles, Mollie’s journey took a dramatic turn as she transitioned from vegan chef to cattle rancher, guided by firsthand experience with soil health, animal systems and the realities of food production. She is the author of “Debunked by Nature”, where she challenges modern assumptions about food, health and culture through the lens of nature. Mollie writes regularly for Acres U.S.A. and publishes a daily column in “The Epoch Times”, covering agriculture, policy, family and faith. A frequent speaker, her work bridges personal stories with larger systemic questions, inviting audiences to reconsider their relationship to land, food and responsibility in an increasingly disconnected world.
PRESENTATION
DEBUNKED BY NATURE
SAT., OCT. 19 AT 9:00 AM
Mollie Engelhart will share her personal and professional journey from celebrated vegan chef to regenerative farmer, drawing directly from the insights in her book “Debunked by Nature”. Her talk explores what led her to question her former beliefs about food, health and agriculture, and how hands-on experience with soil, animals and land stewardship reshaped her understanding of nourishment. She will discuss the realities of modern food systems, the limits of labels and ideology and the deeper, often overlooked connections between human health and ecological health.
Through storytelling and practical reflection, Mollie offers a candid look at transformation, challenging assumptions and what it means to align one’s life and livelihood with the patterns and truths found in nature.
