LIZ JAMES
Liz is a licensed pharmacist with 30 years of experience in retail and specialty pharmacy, including oncology, infertility, and rare disease. In 2020, she left traditional practice after declining to comply with employer requirements related to the COVID-19 shot. Her own health journey led her to question conventional systems, prompting two decades of study in alternative healing. She believes Western medicine has an important role—especially in emergencies—but that most healing can be accomplished holistically.
In 2022, Liz founded Blessed By His Blood, a faith-based nonprofit supporting individuals who choose to abstain from mRNA technology and seek community-based support for transfusion needs. In 2023, the mission expanded to advancing legislation protecting the right to direct donor blood across multiple states.
An organic farm girl, Liz has been married to her husband Charlie for 33 years. She now uses her pharmacist knowledge as a certified health coach and faith-based yoga instructor, helping others pursue sustainable wellness in mind, body, and spirit.

BATTLE FOR OUR BLOOD: INFORMED CONSENT AND MEDICAL FREEDOM AS IT PERTAINS TO BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS AND BLOOD PRODUCTS
SAT., OCT. 17 AT 1:45 PM
Every two seconds, someone in the United States needs blood or platelets—yet most people don’t consider this reality until it affects them or a loved one. For health-conscious individuals, receiving a transfusion can feel both humbling and concerning, given the importance they place on what enters their body. When circumstances allow, choosing a directed (known) donor instead of an anonymous one offers greater personal control, peace of mind, and potentially higher confidence in the blood’s quality and safety. However, this option—an important aspect of medical freedom—is increasingly being discouraged or denied by parts of the blood industry. Since 2023, a growing, coordinated effort has emerged to quietly eliminate this choice in states without legal protections, limiting patients’ ability to make informed, personalized decisions about their care.
